CTS DELIVERED NAPLES & SHAPE BST, CONTINUED SUPPORT TO TRIDENT JUNCTURE 18, JACKAL 19, JUPITER 19 & FIKSO

The past couple of months proved to be a very dynamic month for CTS and our partners.  CTS provided Intelligence and Medial Content SMEs for JFC Naples BST in late September and early October.

CTS was poised to provide the bulk of the White Cell for TRIDENT JACKAL 2019; however, the postponement of TRIDENT JACKAL 2019 just prior to the Crisis Response has pushed the exercise into 2019.  The programme for 2019 is under review and CTS core personnel are working with the JWC to replan the exercise.  As soon as the modified requirements are confirmed, CTS will resurrect its key enabling role in EXCON.

CTS continued to support EUROCORPS to prepare for its main training year in 2019.  As a part of this effort, CTS delivered EUROCORP’s CPX/CAX Exercise COMMON TENACITY 2018, taking a leadership role in EXCON under the direction of a Team Leader and three Event Managers. Support also included provision of leadership in OPFOR, Host Nation and Intelligence and the delivery of all scenario and MELMIL content. CTS and Roger Lane Consulting support to EUROCORPS will continue into the 2019 training year with COMMON TENACITY 2019.

CTS was contracted to design and deliver SHAPE’s BST.  The event was attended by close to 200 SHAPE leadership and staff principles and was described as a great success. Under Roger Lane’s leadership, the team delivered a 5-day vignette-based training event that enabled the SHAPE leadership team to review its decision-making processes in preparation for exercise and real-world challenges.

Meanwhile key personnel continued to provide critical support to the JWC for TRIDENT JUNCTURE 18, TRIDENT JACKAL 19, TRIDENT JUPITER 19 and building the new FIKSO setting; the latter 3 projects sees CTS in the lead contracting role. The CTS in-house team regularly supports the JWC exercise planning teams at conferences and provides daily support in exercise project management and content design and delivery.  CTS continues to provide creative and responsive support to enable NATO to train its current and future leaders.
